Today’s the deadline, so timing is critical, but if you submit a video of yourself singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” by midnight, you have a chance to perform before the Chattanooga Lookouts game Sunday. The contest is sponsored by McKamey Animal Center, and its Facebook fans will vote on their favorite submission. Entry fee is $10. Videos will be posted Wednesday morning at www.mckameyanimalcenter.org, and a 24-hour voting span will start at noon at www.facebook.com/MckameyAnimalCenter. You can also visit the website to bid on throwing out the first pitch or to buy a Pooch Pass for taking your canine companion to Sunday’s game, the only Dogs on the Diamond promotion of the season.
