A Chattanooga man who police say violated probation after being convicted of holding a knife to his girlfriend’s throat is this week’s Crime Stoppers subject.
Chattanooga police said Landon Christopher McGahee, 23, went to his ex-girlfriend’s house and forced open the door. He grabbed her by the throat, held a knife on her and threatened to kill her as he dragged her through the home looking for others, police said.
She slipped away and drove off in her car, then called police.
Earlier this year, McGahee pleaded guilty to aggravated domestic assault, especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated burglary and was given supervised probation and fines as part of his punishment. The probation violation stems from those convictions, police said.
McGahee is 6 feet tall and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a teardrop tattoo under his right eye, “423” tattooed on the left side of his neck and “Life of Pain” tattooed on his throat. His last known address was 7633 Austin Drive.
Information leading to his arrest could result in a cash reward of up to $1,000. Call 423-698-3333.
