What’s next after the Confederate flag?
I am saddened by our actions at times in our great United States of America.
We cannot change our history; we can only be in charge of our future. With God’s help we can strive to be better citizens – with no racial bias and treat everyone as equals.
But removing the Confederate flag as well as the possible removal of the bust in Nashville of a Civil War general? Should we tear down the Selma, Ala., bridge because it holds sad memories for many?
Tear up the items in our great past because they offend? It happened. We cannot erase the past.
