Good morning, Chattanooga!
If you were to go back in time some years ago and step into the Hutton & Smith Brewing Co. on M.L. King Boulevard, you might have found Chattanoogan Ariel Resnick standing behind the bar.
But nowadays, you would find her behind the desk as an attorney at Grant, Konvalinka and Harrison downtown.
After getting her degree in philosophy from UTC, she wasn’t exactly sure what she wanted to do with her life. A stream of attorneys coming in and out of the brewing company over time encouraged her to think about law school.
“I knew I needed to go back to school to do something,” she says. “I called it the ‘post-college blues.’ I just felt wayward.”
