A person was struck by a motor vehicle and injured at Erlanger Hospital Thursday afternoon, but details of the incident are limited.
Erlanger’s public information staff confirmed that an incident occurred, but said that because the person was admitted to the hospital as a patient, no information could be released as to exactly what happened or their condition.
The incident happened shortly after 1 p.m., according to traffic on the Chattanooga Police Department scanner.
