A Dunlap, Tenn., man was killed Friday when his motorcycle crashed into the back a tractor-trailer, according to the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office.
Eddie Collier, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Sequatchie County Medical Examiner. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
The incident happened at 5:30 p.m. on State Route 111 heading southbound, just before a scenic overlook, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The cause of the crash is unknown, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the sheriff’s office are investigating.
