What are you willing to risk?
There’s so much COVID-19 news happening, you may have missed my favorite story of the week. It’s a different take on the pandemic that delves a bit into the psychology of risk taking and includes links to online calculators that can help you assess your own COVID-19 risk. Of course, they’re just estimates, but I found them interesting and informative.
If you think about it, we do a lot of things to reduce our risks for things that are way more rare than coronavirus infections. I don’t know about y’all, but when I hear a thunderstorm, I go running straight to the house. I definitely don’t want to gamble with a novel virus for which the long-term effects are still unknown.
