A Hamilton County family lost its home in a fire Saturday night.
Emergency Services spokeswoman Amy Maxwell said the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department was called about 9 p.m. to the house in the 4600 block of Porter Loop Road and found fire showing throughout the house and the roof. All they could do was direct water to keep the flames from spreading, Maxwell said.
No injuries were reported. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department will investigate the cause of the blaze.
