Local drug agents recently found an active meth lab hidden in a child’s toy box at a Dickson, Tenn., apartment. Two children were decontaminated of meth and the byproducts at the scene.

Agents were looking for a fugitive July 3 in the vicinity of 105 Suggs St. when they received a tip the suspect was hiding in a nearby apartment. Authorities eventually arrested the fugitive July 9 at another location.

The drug agents arrested Caitlin Decaney, 24, and Katy Daniels, 23, both of Dickson, after searching the apartment, smelling meth and finding an active one-pot meth lab, commonly referred to as the shake-and-bake method.
