The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men’s basketball team improved to 8-6 on the season with a 78-60 win over Lipscomb Monday at McKenzie Arena.
The Mocs hit 13 3-pointers, and was led by Eric Robertson’s career-high 20 points. Greg Pryor had a solid all-around game with 19 ponits, six assists and five rebounds, while Ronrico White finished with 13 points and six assists.
Lipscomb (5-8) trailed 49-47 after a 3-pointer by J.C. Hampton with 13:43 to play, but UTC answered with a 20-4 run midway, led by Robertson, who had 12 points during the span.
The Mocs shot 42 percent from the floor, but 41 percent from 3-point range.
Malcolm Smith had 14 points to lead the Bison.
The Mocs being their full slate of conference games Saturday, as they host Furman.
