Whether you relax on dry land or a boat on the water, organizers of Beach Blanket Movie Night promise there’s not a bad seat for tonight’s flick.
The animated feature will be shown on a three-story screen and broadcast in FM transmission on the beach at Chester Frost Park, 201 N. Gold Point Circle in Hixson.
This kickoff to the Memorial Day weekend is presented by Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department for the sixth year.
Chairs and blankets may be spread across the beach, or boats can anchor to watch the movie. Family activities will be held before the movie, and concessions will be sold. The movie will begin at dark; sunset is officially at 8:47 p.m.
Admission is free. For more information, call 842-6748.
