The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has captured McMinnville, Tenn., resident Bryan James Cooke in the wake of a June 29 double murder.

Cooke was being sought in the deaths of Gail and Gary Dodson, whose bodies were found in their Warren County home by employees of the Dodsons’ restaurant.

The two were discovered after employees at their restaurant were concerned when they did not show up for work, a TBI release states.

Cooke, 39, was sought on two counts of criminal homicide. Bond was set on these charges at $2,000,000.

Early this morning, Cooke was arrested at a hotel in Jacksonville, Fla., by officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. A Jeep that had been stolen from the residence of Gail and Gary Dodson in McMinnville was recovered in the parking lot of a nearby Jacksonville business.

He is awaiting extradition.
