The Claire Lynch Trio, fronted by one of the most esteemed singers in bluegrass and acoustic music, will be in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave.
Lynch, left, was named by DigitalJournal.com in 2014 as “one of the 10 best angelic voices of our time” and has earned multiple industry awards for her singing and songwriting.
She’ll be joined by Jarrod Walker, right, a standout mandolin player who also plays lead guitar and contributes backing vocals, and Bryan McDowell, who once swept the Walnut Valley Festival with a triple win in flatpicking guitar, fiddle and mandolin.
Tickets are $20 at www.barkinglegs.org.
