Sonya ThompsonFans of “The Walking Dead” may not recognize Larry Mainland, Sonya Thompson and Savana Jade Wehunt without their blood-and-gore makeup, but the three zombie actors from the hit TV show will be signing autographs at the Dalton Comic and Pop Culture Convention on Saturday, March 25, in the Dalton (Ga.) Convention Center.
Organizer Daniel Germany of Dalton says last spring’s inaugural comic con drew more than 500 folks and he is expecting at least double that number this weekend.
“We have 60 vendors, and Game On is offering free HeroClix demos. We will have the Zombie Truck in a set with people dressed as zombies so visitors can get their pictures made looking like they are running from zombies or whatever they want,” he describes.
Germany says Mainland, who has acted in 13 movies and played a monster in “Goosebumps,” Thompson and Wehunt will be on-site all day to meet fans for pictures and autographs.
