* What: Fish tacos have been on the menu only for four months, but have become one of the most popular entrees. “People have said great things about them because of their texture and different flavors,” said Jeff Embry, manager of the Hamilton Place restaurant. They type of fish changes daily from grouper to cod, halibut and haddock to give people a variety, Embry added. The fish is fried, then wrapped in a soft corn tortilla and topped with a mix of cabbage, green onions and shredded carrots. Chili mayonnaise and an avocado complete each taco, and a big slice of beefsteak tomato finishes the plate. Fish tacos are offered as a lunch or dinner entree.
