Red Bank will celebrate its 40th Jubilee and MoonPie Festival on Saturday, May 4, with a day of activities.
The fun starts at the annual parade at 10 a.m. with Red Bank’s military veterans serving as grand marshals. Any veteran wishing to serve in that capacity should call City Hall at 423-877-1103.
The parade travels Dayton Boulevard to City Park, across from Food City, where the MoonPie Festival will take place until 4 p.m.
There will be food and craft vendors, music, bounce houses for children, cornhole matches, music from DJ Gene Lovin and a MoonPie-eating contest. Area classic car owners are encouraged to participate in the festival’s cruise-in.
