Your Monday at a glance:
- Weather: High 67; cloudy, cooler
- What to eat: This low-calorie California club chicken wrap, which is super easy to make at home.
- What to do: Improve your mental health with the help of one of these apps.
- What we’re excited about: The three rules of this local nonprofit gym geared for children and young adults: no phones; no bullying; and no helping somebody until they ask.
Greetings, Chattanooga!
All this coronavirus coverage can get overwhelming – for us, too. It can feel as if nothing else is happening. But, in fact, the world is still full of unique stories! So, I’ve decided to share some of those with you. Each day, I’ll be kicking this newsletter off with a “non-coronavirus newstory of the day.”
Like this one, for example: Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, who is married to Britain’s Prince Harry, has her first post-royal job: narrating a Disney documentary about elephants. Read the story here.
And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming:
Here’s how the huge congressional COVID-19 aid package can help you.
This Chattanooga mom’s hilarious video about homeschooling amid the COVID-19 crisis has gone viral – for lack of a better word. Watch it here.
And, speaking of humor (because if you don’t laugh, you cry, right?) here’s how other folks across the country are coping with the coronavirus through humor.
