MOTHER-DAUGHTER CONTEST
Visit Chattamoms.com for the details of a mother-daughter look-alike photo contest in anticipation of Mothers Day. The submission period ends today. Online voting to pick a winner will be Monday through April 22. The winner will receive a trip valued at $500 to Gaylord Opryland on May 8 and 9 for special Mother’s Day events.
TALENT SEARCH
Chattamoms.com will sponsor the Kids Talent Search Stage at the Riverbend festival in June. Watch Chattamoms.com for details of how to submit a video of your child’s singing, dancing or instrumental talent. Video submissions will be accepted Friday through May 7. Online voting will determine which children perform at Riverbend beginning June 11. Money collected from the voting — 25 cents per vote — will go charity.

“With my children at two different schools, they have different schedules for breaks and days off. This presents a problem when we want to plan trips to visit family or go somewhere on vacation. Are there any teachers out there who have an opinion about this? When I have done it in the past, we have made up the work, and let the school know in advance. What have the rest of you experienced?”
