Two mayors, two state senators and a number of City Council members celebrated the designation of Tennessee’s greenest building Friday, which was certified as LEED Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Mayor Ron Littlefield said all city buildings will be LEED certified in the future and complimented the staff of Greenspaces, which renovated the structure as a headquarters.
“I’m honored to look around and see this inspiration here. Thank you for what you’ve done so far,” Mayor Littlefield said.
Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey added that he, too, is proud of Greenspaces’ efforts.
