Correspondent MSB provides this week’s account of a doubly answered prayer.
In the spring of 1990, I had graduated from Walker Tech with a two-year accounting degree but was unemployed. I answered a blind P.O. Box ad in a Dalton, Georgia, paper. As I sealed the envelope containing my resume and placed it in my mailbox, I said a prayer to find a job.
In the prayer, I asked, “Lord, I can’t be there when they open my envelope. Will you let that person know I am the person for this accounting job?”
Several days later, I got a call, and an appointment was made for an interview. I went in, met the owners and was hired.
