Nightingale Network names grant finalists

The Nightingale Network, an affiliate of The Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga, has announced four finalists for the 2016 Nightingale Network Grant Award. The competitive grant is annually awarded to organizations that create long-term social change for women and/or girls in Hamilton County.

Finalists are: A Step Ahead Foundation, La Paz Chattanooga, Partnership for Families, Children and Adults, and Tech Town Foundation.

The grant winner is selected by women who are members of Nightingale Network. Women in the network will host parties where guests are informed about the potential grantees and asked to join as a member. Each member is given a vote and, at the end of the party season, all membership fees are pooled and given as a grant to the organization that receives the most votes. The winning organization will be selected by Sept. 30.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the network should contact Katie Jackson at the Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga at 423-752-4820.
