State parks officials are keeping an eye on smoke coming out of a steep canyon in the Mowbray Mountain area.
Hamilton County Emergency Services spokeswoman Amy Maxwell said parks officials have found the smoke source but cannot get down into the steep terrain to further investigate.
“There are no endangered structures,” she said.
At this point, officials will continue to monitor the smoke to see which way the fire travels, she said.
