Thanksgiving hasn’t even arrived, but Christmas music is starting.

The Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus of Tennessee is launching a new holiday tradition on Saturday, Nov. 18, with their production of “Interactive Messiah,” an audience sing-along to Handel’s “Messiah.”

The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. in the George R. Johnson Cultural Center Theatre on the campus of Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tenn.

The concert will cover Part I of the oratorio, featuring guest soloists. Participants are welcome to bring along their own “Messiah” score to use, or there will be sing-along books for purchase in the lobby the night of the event.

Featured soloists will be Cheryl Brendel, soprano; Delores Beery, mezzo-soprano; Ron Brendel, tenor; and Tony Deaton, bass-baritone.

Tickets are $15 adults, $5 senior adults and students. To reserve a ticket: www.cleveland tnorchestra.com.
