Anderson ‘failure’; vote for Oglesby

In the upcoming District 7 race, I would like to urge residents to research and hopefully cast their votes for Erskine Oglesby. Our current councilman, Chris Anderson, has been an utter failure as our representative. If he doesn’t personally support a cause, you won’t have him at bat for you. He is notorious for excusing and avoiding contact with us and also blaming his predecessors for everything still wrong four years later. He cost St. Elmo partial bus service by staying silent. Also, he is a supporter of a “green” company which destroys neighborhoods with pop-up housing.

By contrast, Mr. Oglesby seems to be the breath of fresh air we need. After researching, speaking with him and seeing him at the recent forum, I feel he has the knowledge, direction, skills and experience to get District 7 back on track. He seems to genuinely care about people and wants to focus on economic growth and disparity and represent all of the people. Mr. Oglesby has a vision for us that I trust will bring prosperity to all and make us stronger. He is a man of the people, not just a chosen few.
