A group of nearly 100 local real-estate agents were training at the Keller Williams Greater Downtown office when the Woodmore bus wreck occurred in November 2016.

During the training, agents decided to auction a teddy bear with proceeds to benefit Woodmore Elementary School. The bear sold for $500. Soon other agents contributed the amounts of their previous bids, and they collectively raised nearly $8,000 within minutes.

Agents from Keller Williams continued to raise money to build the donation, with contributions coming from as far as Anchorage, Alaska.

An $11,000 donation was made that will benefit the Support, Create, Enrich Fund, which was founded for Woodmore Elementary after the bus accident.
