One person has died in a Monday night crash on the 16000 block of Dayton Pike in Sale Creek, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
A preliminary investigation found that a silver Ford F-150 was headed southbound on Dayton Pike when it crossed the center lane and struck a white Ford F-150 head on. The driver of the white F-150 was pronounced dead at the scene, the release states.
The passenger in the white F-150 was airlifted to a local hospital with apparent critical injuries, while the driver and passenger of the silver F-150 were both transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services, according to the release.
The incident is currently under investigation.
