A couple of weeks ago, In-Town Gallery took the art that had been on its walls and pedestals for the last six months and replaced it with new pieces.
Part of it was the North Shore gallery’s regular changeover that takes place every November; some of it was to get a fresh slate of artwork in place before the holiday season.
And some of it was to introduce the gallery’s nine new members: Painter Miki Boni, painter Lee Glasscock, sculptor Victoria Kile, silk painter Traci Paden, painter Linda Kerlin, painter Janice Kindred, fiber artist Karen Viser and painter James Tucker and mixed-media artist Sandra Washburn.
The first week of December, there will be a First Friday opening to give folks a chance to meet the new artists and see their works, plus take a look at new art from the gallery’s longtime members.
The opening also will highlight the works of jewelry maker Barbara Murnan and painter Coyee Shipp Langston.
