Staff in Nashville law firm Chaffin, Burnsed & Blackburn’s office today confirmed that “a complaint” has been filed by Mark Winslow, a top campaign aide to Robin Smith, against John Bruce “Chip” Saltsman Jr., a key campaign adviser and chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann.
A copy of a summons indicates that Gary Blackburn, an attorney at the Nashville firm, is filing court documents on behalf of Mark A. Winslow. Another Nashville attorney, Raymond Throckmorton, also is listed on the document as a representative of Winslow.
