Looking for Lights

One of my favorite holiday traditions growing up was driving around and looking at all the lights, hunting for houses that spent a year’s worth of electricity costs in the month leading up to Christmas. The magic didn’t fade one bit as I got older, but the prevalence of those residential displays did.

If you’re in the mood to reminisce about happier times – who isn’t? – read our first story below for an extensive recounting of other locals’ favorite holiday traditions. While the season may look different this year, the warmth those memories spark will always feel the same.

Happy holidays!
