The first day of 2015 brought Georgia its 26th football commitment for this year’s class.
Juwuan Briscoe, a 6-foot, 182-pound cornerback from Waldorf, Md., committed to the Bulldogs on Thursday. He made the announcement via Twitter.
“Blessed to say I will be heading to the SEC for the next four years to be playing football as a Georgia Bulldog,” Briscoe said.
Briscoe had been committed to Clemson but backed out in October. He took official visits to Georgia and Ohio State after reopening his recruitment.
Rivals.com rates Briscoe as a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 31 cornerback, while 247Sports.com rates him as a three-star and the No. 35 cornerback. Briscoe had four interceptions as a senior and also rushed for 1,500 yards, according to 247Sports.
