Daphne Kirksey, a destination services consultant with IOR Global Services who previously worked for Gov. Don Sundquist, will serve as district director for U.S. Rep.-elect Chuck Fleischmann when he is sworn into Congress next month.
Fleischmann said Kirksey “has the experience, and know-how, to ensure that I am kept up-to-date on the pressing needs in all 11 counties” in Tennessee’s 3rd Congressional District in East Tennessee.
A graduate of Notre Dame High School and the University of Memphis, she has helped Volkswagen families relocate to Chattanooga. She also spent 10 years on the staff of then-U.S. Rep. and later Gov. Sundquist.
Kirksey will work out of the Chattanooga district office.
