The three-day yard sale will feature antiques, glassware and clothing. The festival portion will begin May 21 with a barbecue dinner, homemade ice cream, inflatables, face painting and craft booths.
“Saturday is the big day with crafts, vendors, food, a yard sale and gospel singing,” said church volunteer Jan Newman. “We will have candles, birdhouses and strawberries for sale.”
Gospel singers Joyful Expressions and Vernon Sneed will be featured that day. The lineup also includes Mary Poe, Midge Stewart, Toni McMillan, the Heaven Seekers, Tammy Keener, Jerry Hall, Rhonda Simmons and her son Hunter Simmons.
“I love the singers and the fun everyone has together,” said church volunteer Dottie Curvin. “We are a close-knit church family.”
Newman said the yard sale and festival proceeds will go to the church building fund. Church members are remodeling the parsonage.
“If anyone has any household items, clothing, toys, tools, cars or bicycles, feel free to donate it,” she said.
