MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Attorney General Luther Strange says confidential information may have been illegally accessed by the chief agent for the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center.

Dennis Bodine of Foley turned himself in to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Friday after being indicted on 19 counts of accessing private information about individuals that was unrelated to any official law enforcement duty.

The state says Bodine unlawfully accessed criminal record information. Each felony carries penalties of up to five year’s imprisonment and fines.

Bodine was released on bond. Court records do not indicate his attorney’s name.
