POTOMAC FALLS, Virginia (AP) – President Donald Trump is playing golf and talking health care with Sen. Rand Paul.

The president headed to Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Sunday morning. Spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said Trump would be golfing and talking policy with Paul and budget director Mick Mulvaney.

Paul was an outspoken critic of the House Republican plan to repeal and replace former President Barack Obama’s health care law. That effort collapsed, humiliating Trump in the early days of his administration.

Trump tweeted on Sunday: “Talks on Repealing and Replacing ObamaCare are, and have been, going on, and will continue until such time as a deal is hopefully struck.”

Trump has lashed out at members of the conservative Freedom Caucus who contributed to the defeat of the bill.
