A man in Calhoun, Ga., has been charged on multiple counts in a child molestation investigation.
Calhoun Police Chief Garry Moss said Aaron Tylor Ray, 21, was arrested Aug. 11.
He said a report filed Aug. 4 alleged that Ray had engaged in a sexual act with a 13-year-old girl. Detectives began an investigation and subsequently uncovered evidence connecting Ray to the assaults, Moss said.
Ray remains in the Gordon County Jail facing charges of six counts of child molestation, one count of aggravated child molestation and three counts of aggravated sexual battery.
