This week, the Hunter Museum of American Art is offering two fun ways to get your juices flowing. On Wednesday, Jan. 13, you can tune into Facebook to learn, in real time, how to make whimsical yarn sculptures inspired by one of the museum’s current exhibits, “Bridging the Hunter.” The free demonstration, which runs from 2-2:15 p.m., will incorporate things you probably already have on hand: yarn, glue, parchment or freezer paper and scissors. Then, on Saturday, Jan. 17, you can stop by the museum for some “Artful Yoga” from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The series connects art from the Hunter with yoga taught by local and visiting instructors. Bring your own yoga mat and mask, which must be worn throughout the class.
