- Recommended adventure: Explore the history of native peoples going back 12,000 years at Moccasin Bend, the nation’s only site designated as an archaeological district. - Most interesting thing we learned this week: Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center is now home to more than 50 monarch caterpillars. The caterpillars were brought to the center after losing their previous food source. Now they’re happily feasting on milkweed in a designated nursery designed to help support the declining monarch butterfly population.
