WASHINGTON (AP) – One of President Donald Trump’s former foreign policy advisers says a Senate committee investigating Moscow’s interference in the election wants him to turn over information about contacts he – or any other campaign associate- had with Russians.
The request comes in a two-page letter from senators that Carter Page shared with The Associated Press. It offers insight into the timeline of the Senate intelligence committee’s probe and its lines of questioning.
The committee wants Page to provide emails, letters, phone records or other relevant information he has about meetings or contacts he or any other individual affiliated with the Trump campaign had with Russian officials or businessmen.
