Hamilton County’s Enterprise South Nature Park is hosting free children’s hikes to learn about trees and plants on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the park.
A hike for students in grades 1-3 will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by one for children in grades 4-6 from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
Naturalist Laura Marsh will lead parent-child teams on each walk. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is free, but space is limited so reservations are encouraged. Call the ESNP Visitor’s Center, 893-3500, to reserve a space.
