Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park historian Jim Ogden will host a historical hike on Moccasin Bend at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The three-mile hike will go along Pineville Road and then take participants bushwhacking through areas that have not yet been developed with trails. Sturdy hiking shoes, water, and snacks are highly recommended.
The hikes will begin at the Chattanooga Bakery (MoonPie) parking lot, at the intersection of Manufacturers and Hamm roads. The hikes are free. Registration is not necessary.
