VA medical system gives runaround
I am a veteran and have been trying for the past two-to-three months to get treatment through the Chattanooga VA system.
When I first started trying to see a doctor, I was given an appointment three months away on Aug. 2. After many calls to the telephone care system, I was given an appointment in Chattanooga and got exactly nothing.
Many more calls and I was sent to Murfreesboro emergency room.
Many more calls and I was sent to Nashville VA emergency room. I was given pain medication and scheduled for testing, MRI scheduled in three months and pain management after that.
