DALTON, Ga — The Creative Arts Guild in Dalton, Ga., will host classical music concerts at noon today and at 7 p.m. Friday.

Today’s performance is free and those attending may bring lunch. Admission for Friday’s performance is $10 and includes snacks and coffee.

“You’ll hear lovely classical music and eat and drink to your heart’s content,” said Terry Tomasello, executive director of the Creative Arts Guild.

The concerts will feature violinist Paula Pasqua, pianist Ann Almond Pope and horn player Christine Pope.

Ms. Pasqua earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music, with emphasis on violin performance, at the University of Northern Colorado. She now performs with the Rome Symphony Orchestra and is an instructor at the Creative Arts Guild.

Ann Pope Ann holds a bachelor’s in music from Florida State University and a master’s from Bowling Green State University. She has taught there as well as the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Bryan College, but she now teaches from home.

Christine Pope has bachelor’s degrees in music theory and horn performance from Florida State University and a master’s from the University of Connecticut. She teaches at the Creative Arts Guild.

The trio will perform pieces from Johannes Brahms, Lennox Berkeley and Andrea Morricone.

“These women are playing very difficult pieces,” Ms. Tomasello said. “It’s mesmerizing, and you can’t believe you’re sitting in a small gallery in Dalton, Georgia, when you hear them.”
