Mark Saccomanno doubled to right and Matt Dominguez homered to right to open the second inning and give Jacksonville the offense it needed in a series opening 3-1 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts on Wednesday afternoon.

Dominguez had a sacrifice in the fourth that scored Jason Delaney, who had led the inning with a single up the middle.

Chattanooga (19-27) got its lone run in the first inning when Dee Gordon reached on a bunt single, advanced to second on a throwing error, reached third on Trayvon Robinson’s sacrifice and scored on Corey Smith’s sacrifice.

Game two of a five-game series in Jacksonville is tonight at 7:05.

John Koronka (0-3, 5.17) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Tom Koehler (5-0, 3.44) scheduled for the Suns.
