The Hamilton County Highway Department has started staging equipment and materials to repair Roberts Mill Road after a culvert was washed out over the Christmas holiday.
Initial staging and guardrail removal will be completed this week, according to Hamilton County Public Works.
Repairs to the road will begin once the water flow in the channel has subsided to a safe level.
Weather permitting, the road is expected to reopen Jan. 11.
