Garden Brothers Circus, celebrating the circus tradition for more than a century, plans two stops in the area as part of its current North American tour.

A production of Ice Capades, Garden Brothers Circus still includes elephants in its shows, along with motorcycle daredevils in a Globe of Doom, Chinese acrobats, a Human Slingshot, aerialists and clowns, as well as a first-of-its-kind combined performance by camels, llamas, horses and buffalo, according to promoters.

The show will be at McKenzie Arena, 720 E. Fourth St. in Chattanooga, on Monday, March 6, and at the Dalton Convention Center, 2211 Dug Gap Battle Road in Dalton, Ga., on Tuesday, March 7. There will be two shows each day, at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $9.95 for the first 100 adult tickets. General-admission tickets are $8 for children 3-12, $24 for adults. VIP ringside seats are $18 for children, $34 for adults.

Free children’s tickets have been distributed at local businesses, elementary schools, preschools, day-care centers and churches. These must be presented at the gate. Children 2 and younger get in free for general-admission seating but will require a ticket for VIP seats.

Doors open one hour before the show for the Kids Fun Zone. Seating is first-come, first-served.
