DONATIONS NEEDED The Lantern Alzheimer’s Center at Morning Pointe, 9300 Messenger Lane in Collegedale, will accept donations Thursday for a yard sale. The yard sale, offering furniture, clothing, puzzles, stuffed animals and other miscellaneous items, will be held in conjunction with a car wash and virtual dementia tour scheduled 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday. Proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk on Sept. 18 at Chattanooga State Community College. Call 396-4700 for more information.
