The Tennessee Department of Transportation says it may be 8:30 p.m. tonight before the remains of a crash on Interstate 75 in Bradley County are cleared away and one northbound lane reopens.
Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. John Harmon said William Stout, 60, of Cleveland, was driving a 2005 Dynasty Motor Home near mile marker 18 when it had a tire failure.
The motor home ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree. Stout was taken to a local hospital, Harmon said.
TDOT said the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. As of 1:30 p.m., traffic was still restricted to a single lane and a large wrecker was hauling the camper back to the highway.
This is a developing story.
