COPPER BASIN COUGARS

Head coach: Chad Grabowski (7-14 in two years here; 69-54 overall)

Returning starters: 8 offensive; 9 defensive

Key players: QB Bryson Grabowski (6-2, 180); OL Joseph Johnson (6-0, 225); OL Addison Hook (6-2, 275); OL Chance Rollins (6-2, 300); TE A.J. Miles (6-4, 215); MLB Joe Boggs (6-2, 210); SS Timothy Fair (6-1, 180); LB Larry Dye (5-11, 185); DL Hunter Perry (6-0, 275); WR Timothy Jabley (6-1, 180); WR Dawson Worthy (6-3, 170), DB Eli Patterson (6-0, 180); DL Sebastian Balilies (5-9, 200).

Team strengths: The number of starters returning gives the Cougars confidence they can compete with most any team on their schedule. Bryson Grabowski set the school passing record last season and has plenty of weapons to choose from to help the offense put up big numbers again.

Team concerns: Beyond the starters, the Cougars are very thin on experience, so how healthy they are late in the season will likely dictate how deep of a playoff run they could make.
