A Chattanooga police officer charged with domestic assault waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Hamilton County General Sessions Court on Monday and saw his case bound over to the grand jury.

Officer Charles Brock is accused of attacking his wife during a fight over a phone on Christmas Day. On Monday, Judge Gary Starnes ordered Brock to continue to have no contact with his wife while the charge is pending. The pair also agreed to use a third party to transfer their children back and forth.

Brock is out on a $1,000 bond.
