Chattanooga police responded to two more robberies Tuesday night involving three perpetrators.
Lt. Kim Noorbergen, spokeswoman for the Chattanooga Police Department, said police aren’t sure if the men who robbed the McDonald’s on 3rd Street and the Kanku’s market on Glenwood Avenue are the same ones responsible for recent convenience store and motel robberies, but “there is a possibility.”
About 9:30 p.m. Tuesday police responded to a robbery at McDonald’s, where employees said three males entered the restaurant from the 3rd Street entrance carrying at least one gun and demanded money from all registers, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.
Video surveillance shows that about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday the same men had purchased a meal and sat at a table with other customers inside the McDonald’s, the release states. The video shows the men in clothing different from that worn by the robbers.
Surveillance video also shows the men in a white Pontiac Grand Prix with a spoiler on the back, the release states.
The same men are suspected of robbing the Kanku’s market at 101 Glenwood Ave. at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday, Lt. Noorbergen said.
She said anyone with information on the men should call the Chattanooga Police Department at 698-2525.

* Black male, 18 to 25 years old, 6 feet or taller, weighing 160 pounds. Seen wearing a black ski mask, light grey hoodie and black bib overalls. Armed with a large framed semi-automatic handgun.
* Black male, 18 to 25 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds. Seen wearing a black hoodie and dark pants with a white cover over his face. It is unknown if he is armed.
* Black male, 18 to 21 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches or taller, weighing 120 to 140 pounds. Seen wearing a black ski mask and a black hooded jacket with white fur around the hood and red and white elastic around the waist and wrist. The jacket had a large logo on the back that reads “Coogi” in white letters with red trim. It is unknown if he is armed.
